Josh works as a typesetter as part of our score production team. He also helps the company out with research, software development and anything else he can get involved with.
When not working for OV, Josh is a violist.
Where’ve you come from and where are you going?
I went to Uppingham School and attended the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. I’m now studying viola at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
What’s your instrument or voice?
I play viola, and also violin, organ and bass guitar. I also play guitar as a hobby.
What’s in your vinyl collection?
Plenty of Shostakovich, Bowie, Jacob Collier. Basically if it’s from the 70s and spins, I got it!
Tell us a quirky random fact about yourself.
If you trace my family’s genealogy back far enough, I’m a descendant of Henry VII, and consequently the Norse god of wind, Njörðr.
